Botanical Ornaments
Lots of love, growth, patience & chatter from the unseen world comes a long with my pieces. I wonder what the lady bugs talked about on the yarrow, what bee napped on the delphiniums petals, or what ant explored that solidago. They're more than just delicate pressed flowers. There's a whole story to each individual petal and pistil. I am so thankful to share that story with you.
Botanically Dyed Goods
I've always been in awe of flora and all they have to offer. As a kid I used to roam my grandmas property in Ohio learning the land with the best teachers, my family. Botanical dyes have inherently come into my life as an artform that connects me to my Scandinavian roots and ancestors. For some time now I've been figuring out the old world ways of textile dyeing. It's a scary thing sharing your passions and hard work but these little self taught lessons bring me grounding, courage and grace to do so.
